Vandoren V12 Reeds are manufactured from cane tubes with the same diameter as cane used for saxophone reeds. Vandoren V12 reeds are specifically designed for the advanced clarinet player. Available for Bb Clarinet, V12 Reeds provide a rich tone and unparalleled control. This leads to a higher manufacturing cost, as large diameter cane is more rare. Vandoren V12 Reeds are thicker at each end. Comparing strengths, a V12 #4 reed is almost equal to Traditional #3.5 reed.
